Elizabeth Jean Robertson, 89, went to be with the Lord on February 25 , 2020. She was born on November 27, 1930 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and lived and went to school there before beginning work as a nurse. Later, she worked as a teacher in Little Rock at The Roper School. She married in 1950 and she and her husband moved around quite a bit for work then later returned home to Arkansas to settle down and raise their family. She and her late husband had 4 children Cynthia Kinsey, Jimmie Robertson Jr., David Robertson, and Carol Fowler. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie L. Robertson and son Jimmie Robertson Jr. as well as her daughter-in-law Tamie Robertson. She is survived by her children Cynthia Kinsey, David Robertson, Carol Fowler, and grandchildren John Kinsey, Sean Kinsey, Sarah Burbank (Matt Burbank), and Robert Modar.

She was a devout Christian woman and was a long-time member of Indian Springs Baptist Church in Bryant Arkansas. Elizabeth had many hobbies and talents including quilting, gardening, cooking, painting sceneries and landscapes as well as other art forms. She loved her family tremendously and cared for them always and she knew that she was loved just as much in return.

Funeral service will be held at Roller Drummond funeral home at 10900 I-30 in Little Rock on Thursday February 27th at 1 PM. Burial to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery on Hwy 5 in Alexander. Brother Tom Williams of Indian Springs Baptist Church will officiate.

Some of my fondest memories are the times I spent at Jean’s house. She was more like an aunt to me than a cousin. Such a sweet lady, and I loved her dearly.
