Elias Romero Trevino

of Proctor, AR

July 18, 1948 - February 9, 2020

Elias Romero Trevino ''Leo'' , 71, of Proctor, AR, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of
Sunday, February 9th after a very long illness. In his last days, Leo was surrounded and
supported by his family.

Leo was born in Rosita Texas on July 18, 1948, son of the late Encarnation & Petra Trevino. He
is survived by his Wife, Jane Rivera Trevino and three children (spouses): Sylvia Trevino Elrod,
Leo Trevino Jr., Augustine Trevino, (daughter-in-law Stacie Trevino and son-in-law David
Elrod). Twelve grandchildren: Candace, Ciara, James, Presley, Trevor, Mia, Teya, Allen, Hunter,
Dillon, Logan and Hannah. In addition to being a devoted husband and father, Leo was one of
thirteen children who loved and cared for his siblings deeply. He is survived by brothers Hilario,
Ernest, Raymond, Johnny, Tony, Arthur and sisters Estella, Olivia, Elsa, Rosie and Linda. He
was preceded in death by and reunites with his sister: Alicia.

Growing up in a home with many siblings and two wonderful parents, Leo lived a life full of
much love and laughter. Upon meeting his honey at the age of 17, Leo instantly fell in love and
they married on March 26, 1967. Their children will remember Leo as being the ''best dad ever''
who taught them some of their most valuable lessons in life.
Leo was renowned for his love for the Lord, and will be remembered by his church, St.
Michael's, where he was a devoted member of their parish for the majority of his life. He is
remembered by many for his evangelistic nature and always letting the Father's voice speak
through him when speaking to others.

Leo loved to spend a lot of his weekends watching Fox News, football and hosting family
gatherings at his home. Leo will also be remembered as a hard-working man, before retiring in
2017. Leo worked at Trumbo, where he spent 36 years surrounded by many people who looked
up to him and will also miss him deeply.

May my Tio Rest in Peace. I love him so much. He was the best Uncle. He was always visiting our home when I was growing up, so many good memories. Playing poker was one of them. I would cheat and tell him and my dad what other players hands were, and he would smile and laugh, Fly High Tio. Always in my heart....

To hear the news brings saddest to me and Dad it hurts Dad just knowing he lost his nephew. The memories he could remember back when he seen them all little. But God has given us the promise to see our love ones resurrection when Jesus calls on them.
