December 26, 1936 - February 6, 2020

Kenneth Lamar Shannon of Joiner, Arkansas, passed from this life on February 6, 2020 at his home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara Shannon; his parents, Willie and Velma Shannon; as well as two brothers and two sisters.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Bill Shannon (Michelle) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his daughters, Patti Misner (Mark) of Manila, Arkansas, and Donna Pilgrim of Joiner, Arkansas; seven sisters; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
He was a retired farmer as well as a 60 year member of the Masonic Lodge, having achieved 32nd Degree status. He has also received the King Solomon Award.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, at Roller-Swift Funeral Home in Osceola, Arkansas. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2020, at 2:00pm at Roller-Swift Funeral home in Osceola, Arkansas, with interment immediately following at Louise Chapel Cemetery in Joiner, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Louise Chapel Cemetery. Contributions may be sent to, 6007 South County Road 245, Joiner, Arkansas 72350.
