Victor D. Fox, Jr., 79, of Magazine departed this life at his home on Six Mile Valley Road January 25, 2020. He was born February 12, 1940 at his family home to his parents, Victor Fox, Sr. and Melva (Sutton) Fox. He was an industrial worker for the Charcoal Plant and Cloye's Gear in Paris and Southwest Rebuilders in Fort Smith. Victor raised cattle and was nicknamed "Farmer". He was a NRA member and loved to fish and hunt. He was also a member of the Walnut Grove Presbyterian Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Victor Fox, Sr. and Melva Fox; two sisters, Debbie Jorden and Kathy Davis.
Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Martha (Daniels) Fox; two sons, Scotty Fox and wife Sandra of Magazine, Jacky Fox and wife Beverly of Magazine; six grandchildren, Kenton Fox, Seth Fox, Steven Callahan, Jonathan Callahan, Rhonda Callahan and Linda Matthews; thirty great-grandchildren; one sister, Gayla Anderson of Paris; one brother, Jim and wife Vickie Fox of Warren; numerous nieces and nephews; other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:0-7:00 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2020 at Booneville Funeral Service Chapel.
A Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Ellington Cemetery in Magazine.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Booneville Funeral Service.
Grateful to have known grandpa D for the time I got to know him. He was a wonderful man that will be missed greatly by many.
Saddened to hear that Victor passed away always had a good time when he was around his since of humor was awesome. Martha,Scotty,Rusty n all the family my prayers are with you u may God comfort your hearts. He is having a big reunion with Debbie n Kathy plus Ramona n Jim Clare God be with you all.
I did tell him enough but I looked up to him .He tough me many things over the year. Love y'all
