On Wednesday January 15, 2020, Steven Storey, beloved son, brother, uncle, husband and step-father, passed away at the age of 64.
Steve was born on October 11, 1955 in Tacoma, WA to Melvin Lester and Naomi Louise (Gravenmier) Storey. In life, he was a skilled mechanic and an excellent auto body technician. ''Uncle Steve'' was always willing to lend a helping hand to our family with any projects or problems that we needed his expert help with. He was a loving and talented guy that we could always count on.
Steven was preceded in death by his mother Naomi Louise Storey, his brothers Darryl Storey, Robert Storey, Melvin D. & Connie (Widow) Storey, and Ronald Storey. He is survived by his father, Melvin L. Storey, his wife Cara Storey, his step-daughter Brandy Beringer, his brothers Martin Storey and Philip & Jacquelin (Wife) Storey, his sisters Melody & Danny (Husband) Tucker and Teresa & Matt (Husband) Haynie. His surviving nieces include Michele & Scott (Husband) Miller, Amanda & Brent (Husband) Leach, Aileen Storey, Sarah & AJ (Husband) Franklin, Mandy & (Husband) Lester, Donna & Rachel (Wife) Glover, Tasha & Cody (Husband) Salmon, Malory Hester and Lori Hester. His surviving nephews include Michael & Lee (Wife) Storey, Adam & Brandi (Wife) Storey, Brian Storey, Jonathan (Chris) Storey, Ryan & Michelle (Wife) Storey, Jonathon Harrison, Grant Haynie, Lucas Tucker, Shane Tucker and Nicholas & Kristin (Wife) Tucker. He also had numerous great nieces and nephews as well.
Memorial services will be held on February 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the following location:
