Cootie was one of my oldest friends. I met her at Girl Scout camp and we spent so many summers together as campers and staff members. While we learned crafts, swimming, and horseback riding together; Cootie taught me a lot about being a friend. She taught me about kindness, being supportive, and facing fears. As adults, we stayed friends. We would have random chit-chats- that were usually hilarious. We would also have serious moments of support and care. I am going to miss her. Prayers and love for her family and friends. We are all blessed to have had her in lives.

I am so sad and hurt for you all. When I remember Elizabeth, I think of that infectious smile. Of all my girls at Camp Crossed Arrows, Elizabeth is one of the girls I remember best. I can hear her call me “Boss” then grin that mischievous smile. I didn’t always know what was going on with her, but whatever it was, it was never mean or hurtful. . I can’t imagine the sadness and pain you are feeling. Please know that you raised a sweet and kind daughter. She was one of a kind and will be missed by everyone that knew her. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I’ve known Liz for as long as I can remember. She was one of few people I’ve stayed in touch with over the years since moving away from Batesville. I always enjoyed our random chats and check-ins over the years. She was definitely a special person...I spent some time tutoring her in jr high and my favorite memories are the days we finished homework early and spent time just jumping on the trampoline and running around outside until time for my mom to pick me up. I’m so heartbroken I can’t be there to say goodbye...sending all my thoughts and prayers to your family during this time. May you always rest in love!
