Bill was a great guy. While my wife and I visited him and Marlene in Flippen he took me fox hunting one night. My first fox hunt and it was exciting to listen to his dogs as they ran through the hill chasing fox. we set around listing to them drinking coffee and telling stories. I got to know him while his wife, Marlene worked for me in my solon in Olathe, Kansas. Bill was finishing his Army Career. s

I am very sorry for your loss of not only your mother but now your father as well. I will keep you in my prayers for comfort. Marsha said it was a beautiful service at the cemetery and I'm sure it was. She drove me by the cemetery once and told me the story of your ancestors starting the cemetery. Neat story.
Sincerely,
Linda

Many hugs and prayers for the family. He was always a fair and helping man, and will be missed. Our families have had wonderful memories with yours beginning with my Grandpa in the late 60's, thru my sons, and future generations to come.

I had the pleasure of working with Bill as he served on the Farm Service Agency county committee for many years, serving the farmers in Baxter and Marion county. Bill was a great friend, highly respected livestock rancher and just a fantastic person. I loved to listen to him tell about “the old days.” He was a dear friend to many. We miss you Bill.
