Dallas Wayne Hensley, 82, of Port Aransas, TX., went to be with the Lord on December 31, 2019. He was born on March 5, 1937 in Lake City to Bert and Ila Hensley. Dallas loved to sing, fish and the art of wood craft. He was a mechanic repairman. Dallas love the Lord and attended church at North Bay Fellowship in Ingleside, TX, but most of all Dallas loved spending time with his grandchildren and he will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Dallas is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Teresa Loe.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 66 years, Bonnie Hensley of Port Aransas, TX; son, Dallas Wayne Hensley, Jr; daughters, Donna Brown, Pam Hensley, and Carla Hissam; brother, Robert Hensley; sisters, Sharon Charolla, Elizabeth Hensley, and Meredith Groves; thirteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Thursday, January 9, 2020, 11AM at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with John Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery. Family will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 10AM until time of service.
