Lester A Leavell, 72 of Clarksville, passed away Monday, January 6, 2020 in Clarksville. Mr. Leavell was born December 17, 1947 in Clarksville to Mr. Charles and Eudora "Lahoma" (Briscoe) Leavell. He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Calvin Leavell, and Ronald Leavell; brother in-law Aubry Williams.

Mr. Leavell is survived by his wife of 25 years Carla (Box) Leavell of the home; two sons: Josh Leavell of New York, NY and John Leavell of Clarksville; one daughter Sarah and Mitch Ruffaner of Clarksville; five grandchildren: Katelynn, Kylee, Nevaeh, Logan and Skyla; two sisters, Frankie and Rick Luningham of Lamar, and Della Williams of Dover; four sister in-laws: Sonya Leavell of Dover, Connie & Ed Musgrove of Clarksville, Carolyn Box of Clarksville, and Gail & Randy key of Rock Island, OK; mother in-law Marguerite Box of Clarksville; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 9, 2020 at the Holman Freewill Baptist Church, with Bro. Jeffery Burris officiating. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery with Steve Fetters, Steve DeYoung, Chuck Larrison, Terry Wood, Tony Warren, Kelly Casey, and Billy Casey serving as pallbearers

Lester Leavell was the best man I ever knew. He taught us kids to work hard for what we have and to show love to our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Blessed are the ones that knew him. He will be missed by so many. I love you, Daddy.
