We became friends with the Gammill family when we had a part time home in Timbo for 10 years. Later Larry James and his brother-in-law came to Kansas to put a new roof on our house. We never laughed so hard as at those those two guys and the roof doesn't leak!
It was good to watch his sons growing up during the many times they came to Kansas with him.The boys were so important to him. He was a fun guy and the boys enjoyed him, as did everyone else. God be with this family.

Carrie, Kyler, Kolton, Sylvia, LaDeanna and families we are so sorry to hear of your loss. Heaven gained a wonderful person on the 3rd of January. I am so glad I had the opportunity to know and work with him both as a friend and a teacher. I know Larry James is rejoicing in Heaven. He has no more worries and no more pains. His attitude and sweet responses to life's occurrences were unlike any. The world is a lesser place without him. He was a kind and gentle man very well respected by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His was a life well lived and he set a wonderful example for his children as well as other young people. His smile and happy personality will be missed by all. Our prayers are for the family. God bless all of you and bring you comfort and peace in the days to come. We love all of you.
