Brooksie ''Gene'' Legene Perkins aka Grandaddy, 79, of Marion. Passed away on Friday, December 20, 2019 in Memphis, TN. He was born on January 23, 1940, in Memphis, TN to F. Brooks and Kathryn Perkins.

Gene ''granddaddy'' was a loving father, brother, granddaddy and friend to so many. He enjoyed talking to everyone, he never met a stranger. His favorite thing to do was watch wrestling and Walker Texas Ranger. He was such a big fan of wrestling and enjoyed this pastime with his grandson, Austin.

He was preceded in death by his father, Brooks Perkins, his brother-in-law and sister, Ann and John Vick, his grandson, Ryan and his wife of 40 years, Deanna Rose Marie Perkins.

He is survived by his mother, Kathryn Perkins; 13 children; his sons, David (Pamela) Perkins, Junior Sellers, Lee (Courtney) Barnes; his daughters, Ann (Sonny) Fite, Mary Kathryn (Rick) Muse, Leza (Al) Marioni, Peggy Sellers, Angie (Remy) Henderson, Brooke (Brad) Kendrick, Michelle Sellers, Rose (Daniel) Gilliland, Krystal (William) Colson, Sissy (Darrell) Barnes; 34 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; and niece Mary Vick and many other relatives.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR. at 4:00 p.m
