Bonnie Sue Powers of Morrilton, AR, passed away December 10, 2019 at 12:11AM at River Chase Nursing and Rehab Center surrounded by her family. She was born on May 6, 1934 in Hammond, Indiana to Leslie Francis and Glendora Mae Powers. Sue was preceded in death by sisters, Willie Powers, Barbara Newman and Judy Jones, brother, Bob Powers and her parents.
Sue was always happy. Her smile and laughter lit up the room everywhere she went. She loved her life and the people in it. Sue always went to Church at River Chase.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister Donna (Eddie) Cheek of Griffith, Ind., sister-in-law, Lee Powers of Morrilton, nephews, Eddie Newman, Jeff Powers, Donnie Jones, Lowell Cheek and Ronnie Jones, nieces, Guin Mitchell, Jan Huett, Jonna Gibby and Nancy Berry. She is also survived by many other great and great-great nephews and nieces and a host of friends and relatives that love her.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday December 14, 2019 at 1:00PM in the chapel at Roller McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, AR. Visitation will be at 12:00PM Saturday, December 14, 2019 prior to the service. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
So sorry to lose such a special lady. Tom and I loved Sue. She will be missed.

I was very fortunate to know Bonnie, She was a loving, happy woman. I enjoyed her spirit being crowned mrs, senior Conway County Fair Queen. I’m so glad I got to meet this precious soul! You will be missed. With much love and prayers to the family- Conway county pageant director!

We loved Sue and always loved visiting with her at church many years ago. Sue was such a sweetheart. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Hugs and prayers.

I am so sorry for the loss of Sue, I have many fond memories of her She was always so happy and loved everyone. I have a story of probably the last time I seen Sue. We were at a family reunion and had a pavilion in the park. A couple came and Sue greeted them with her usual smile and hugs. They were not one of the Muffetts, these people were at the wrong reunion. Gotta love it.
