Helen A. Biondi, 98, of Little Rock, passed away on December 7, 2019. She was born on January 7, 1921 in Tylertown, MS to Claude T. and Leona Smith.
She graduated from LSU where she was a member of Alpha Omega Pi sorority. Helen worked for Congress in Washington for over 30 years and retired as the Clerk of Veteran's Affairs Committee. During her retirement, she built a house on Mallard Island, MD and rented it to Sissy Spacek. She also restored a home at 722 Camden Avenue in Salisbury, MD. She renovated many houses there and West Little Rock. She was a lifetime member of the DAR. Helen enjoyed cooking, entertaining, needleworking, crocheting and renovating homes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Biondi. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon L.W. Brogden; grandson, John W.W. Brogden; stepson, David B. Biondi and his wife, Kay Biondi.
Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, December 13, 2019 at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Riverwood Memorial Park.
