Richard Denoil Harness, age 85 of Leslie, Arkansas died Wednesday, December 4th, 2019 at Springfield, Missouri. He was born in Flag, Arkansas on February 8th, 1934 to Alfred Harness and Pairlie Allred Harness. Denoil married Lenora Kuykendall on July 21st, 1955.
Denoil was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served during the Vietnam War. He retired from the Air Force after 21 years of service.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Lenora Harness; son, Michael Don Harness and wife Stella; grandsons, Cody Harness and Wyatt Harness; sister-in-law, Sandra Pottberg; and brother-in-law, John Kuykendall and wife Margie. Denoil was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Devon Harness.
Funeral services for Denoil will be 2:00 PM Sunday, December 8th, 2019 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Chris Reade officiating. He will be laid to rest in Kuykendall cemetery with Military Honors. Friends and family will serves as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chester, Gary and Darrell Sitton, James and Deris Adams, Larry Hensley, Jim Adams and Travis Castleberry.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Kuykendall Cemetery Fund at Simmons Bank in Marshall, Arkansas.
