Janet (Jan) Lynn Pohlner, 65, of Fisher, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at UAMS. She was born December 7, 1953 in Jonesboro to Brian "Curly" and Margaret Croft Glasgow. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hickory Ridge Church of Christ. She was active with the Extension Homemakers Club, participated as a ''Rice Lady'' for the Arkansas Rice Festival, a Girl Scout Troop Leader, and was a collegiate member of the ASU Choir. She loved decorating for Christmas, cooking and baking, sewing and cross stitching, as well as singing and playing the piano.

Jan was preceded in death by her parents and her mother-in-Law, Rachel Pohlner and father-in-law, Carl Pohlner.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Roger Pohlner; her daughter Cari Gilmer and her husband Derek; her daughter Tori Bogner and her husband Andrew; two grandsons, Ethan and Brayden Gilmer; and her sister Susie Gairhan and her husband Michael.

Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, December 7 at the Hickory Ridge Church of Christ. Saturday would have been her birthday, and the service will be a celebration of her life on this special day. Burial will follow at the Fisher Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 12:30 at the church until time of service.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be her two sons-in-law, Derek Gilmer and Andrew Bogner; her brother in law Michael Gairhan; her cousin Phil Novarese; and her nephews Christopher Gairhan and Dr. Craig Davis.

In lieu of flowers, please direct memorial contributions to the "UAMS Auxiliary Wigs Boutique" at UAMS Medical Center Auxiliary Services, 4301 W. Markham #527, Little Rock, AR 72205. If you should choose flowers, please consider poinsettias.

Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
