James "Jim" Charles KaiserI am a Veteran.

August 10, 1939 - November 25, 2019

James (Jim) Kaiser 80, of Marion, Arkansas, passed from this life on Monday, November 25, 2019 (peacefully) with his family by his side at his home. He was born August 10, 1939 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Wilbert J. Kaiser and Birdie Lou Bernardi. Jim was of the Lutheran faith.
He was a retired manager of the West Memphis Walmart. He loved his Walmart people. At first they thought he was ''mean,'' but they grew to love him for his teaching. After retiring for five years, they honored him with a 70th birthday party. On his 80th birthday, there were calls and even a visit from several coworkers, where he showed he could still do the ''twist.''
Jim loved to make DVD's with pictures and music. He also wrote poetry and loved traveling. He was noted for taking seven women (family members) to Branson several times. He won the horseshoe contest at Dixie Stampede on one of those occasions.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Birdie Lou Kaiser, brothers Ray and Buddy Kaiser, sisters Irene Noftz (Jack), Phyllis Skelton (Jim), Nancy Braun, Janet and Theresa Kaiser. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Frances, a brother, Tom Kaiser (Kathy), sister Ronda Gregory (Dave), sons Walt Kaiser (Sheila), Joey Kaiser (Julia) and Jeffrey Kaiser (Amy), Grandsons, Cain Kaiser of the U.S. Army, Hunter Kaiser and Zack Kaiser, granddaughters Lauren Kaiser, Olivia Kaiser, and Katelyn Allen, Great-grandson Canon Davis and sister-in-laws Virginia Cariker and Stella Cariker.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ted Phillips APRN and Unity Hospice for their good care as well as all Jim's faithful friends.
Jim was a member of the U.S. Air Force. He was stationed at the Little Rock Air Force Base where he met the love of his life, Frances Cariker and 10 months later, they married on June 17, 1962, on Father's Day. He loved his country and no matter where or what time, he stood and honored the flag.
A visitation will be held on November 30, 2019 at the Roller-Citizens Funeral Home chapel in West Memphis, Arkansas from 4-6pm with funeral services on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 1pm.
