Dixie Sue McClain, 68, a resident of Paris, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019, at the Ozark Nursing Home.

She was born October 13, 1951, in Dumas to the late Joseph McClain and Lorine (Farris) Pifer.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Virgil Hester, William Billy Crenshaw, Marvin McClain and Franklin Odell Hester; a sister, Geneva Parker and her step-father who raised her, William Marshall Pifer.

Survivors include a son, Charles McClain and wife, Chelsea of Charleston; two granddaughters, Livica and Raya McClain, both of Charleston; four brothers, Jimmy Crenshaw of Wichita Falls, Texas, Martin McClain of Memphis, Tennessee, William Thomas Pifer of Little Rock and Ronald Pifer of Little Rock; a sister, Pamela Johnson of Subiaco and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris.
