Marilyn V Faulkner

of Romance, AR

August 19, 1958 - November 20, 2019

Marilyn Virginia Faulkner of Romance, Arkansas passed away November 20, 2019 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock at the age of 61. She was born on August 19, 1958 in Rochelle, Illinois and as a child moved to Wynne, Arkansas until she moved to Caraway, Arkansas where she lived most of her adult life. Currently she lives in Romance, Arkansas.

Mrs. Faulkner was preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Claude Myers; one brother, Billy Lloyd; one sister, Ethel Roberson and one granddaughter, McKenzie West.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Craig Faulkner; two sons, Shane (Harmony) West, Jason (Candice) West; one daughter, Starla (Michael) Emery; six grandchildren, Ethan, Lily, Regan, Riley West, Mason and Maggie Emery; one brother, Joe Roberson and three sisters, Barbara Allen, Ann Hull and Sonda Klockenga along with many nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.

Marilyn was a hard worker in everything that she did. She worked at the Steel Mill in Blytheville, Arkansas where she learned how to do many different jobs while she worked there including driving a forklift. After her work she found the most important job she had was taking care of her family which she did with all that she had. She enjoyed camping and traveling, but she enjoyed that the most when she was with her grandchildren. She made the most of her life and enjoyed being with her family. She never missed an activity that her kids and grandchildren were in. Her life exhibited the fact that family was the most important thing and she cherished that.

Family will welcome friends and family for visitation at 1PM on Sunday and Memorial service will start at 2PM at First Baptist Church in Caraway, Arkansas.

I don't think that we will be able to come to the service, but want Shane and Jason and their families to know that our prayers are with them. It's so hard to understand God's purpose. Also, for Marilyn's husband, daughter, and siblings our heart is so heavy for you all. May God be with you all during this time of your loss. With love Jerry and Gayle Watlington
