Betty J. Cullum, 86, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2019 in Gulf Shores, Alabama. She was born October 29, 1933 in West Helena, Arkansas to the late Esther Holland Jackson and C.P. "Jack" Jackson.
Mrs. Cullum worked as an administrative assistant at Ridgecrest Highschool in Paragould, Arkansas and retired at age 65. She was a member of Missionary Baptist Church in Rose City, Arkansas.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Cullum (Michelle) of Conway, Arkansas; daughter, Dr. Shelley Cullum-Bonner (Dr. Darrell) of Gulf Shores, Alabama; six grandchildren, Shannon Jha (Dr. Ash), Bradley King (Farrah) Andrew Bonner, Natalie Crome (Jeff), Aaron Cullum (Leanna), and Grant Cullum; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Juanita Oxner (Charles) of Cabot, Arkansas; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, C.P. Jackson; sister, Barbara Lederman.
A graveside service for Betty J. Cullum will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Visitation will be prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas. Rev. Siegfried Johnson will officiate.
