October 27, 1922 - October 31, 2019

Frances Wirt, 97, of Maumelle, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019. She was born on October 27, 1922 to the late John and Nettie DeWitt in Tipton, Indiana. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Sedric M. Wirt; and three sons, Robert Alan Turner, Sedric A. Wirt, Eddie N. Wirt; and four sisters.

Frances was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a past Matron of the Eastern Star Chapter 14 and worked several years as a RN at Fort Roots. Frances was known for her cooking, being a loving mother and love for her dogs.

Frances is survived by two daughters, Donna Wirt-Meeks (Gary) and Betty V. Reaves; daughter-in-law, Phyllis Wirt, six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Edgewood Memorial Park in North Little Rock. Visitation will be one-hour prior at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd, North Little Rock, AR 72116.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Sherwood Animal Shelter, 6500 N. Hills Blvd., No. Little Rock, AR 72116 or Hospice Home Care, 2200 S. Bowman Road, Little Rock, AR 72211.

Betty & Donna, We want to express our sympathy for the loss of Ms. Frances. She was a sweet lady and will be in our thoughts and prayers 🙏 as well as you two who have been there and taken such good care of her. She's resting now no more pain!🙏
