Charles Eldon Godsey of North Little Rock went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on October 28, 2019. Charles was born to George and Annis Stimpson Godsey, who preceded him in death, as well as 2 brothers: William Sherman and Aubrey Godsey and his sister Mary Sherman. He is survived by his children: Robert and Angie Godsey, Adam Godsey, Christie and Eric Hunt, and Wayne and Amy Jackson. Charles is also survived by his grandchildren: Samantha, Sarah, Ashley, Lori and Jacob, great grandchildren: Robert, Ryleigh, Adalee, Abagail, Maddison and Christopher and nieces and nephews.
Charles was a career long mechanic. He loved Jesus and his family! He served and loved many church families as well. Charles also served his country in the United States Army! Charles is greatly loved and will be missed by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Life Line Baptist Church, Baseline Road in Little Rock, Ar. 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 2 with Reverend Jeff Dial officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Graveside will follow at Crittenden Memorial Gardens at 2:30 P.M. in Marion, AR.
