Charles E. ''Chuck'' Holbert, Sr., died on Wednesday, October 16, 2019, after a brief illness. He was born to William H Holbert and Naurine W. Holbert on October 17, 1930, in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
He was a lifelong commercial pilot and aircraft technician.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; William H. Holbert, Jr., a sister, Mizelle H Waggener, his daughter, Bunnie C. Holbert-Goetz as well as his wives, Bunnie D. Holbert, Alice Jane Holbert, and Francis Holbert.
He is survived by his three sons; William O. Holbert (Sandi), Charles E. Holbert, Jr. (Lori), both of Stuttgart, and Andrew D. (Tammy) Holbert of Little Rock, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great children.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, October 26, 2019, at First Christian Church, 14411 Taylor Loop Rd., Little Rock, Arkansas, 72223. A graveside service to follow at 2:00 P.M., Lone Tree Cemetery, 1740 Highway 79B, Stuttgart, Arkansas, 72160.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for memorials to be made to The Wolfe Street Foundation, 1015 S. Louisiana St. Little Rock, Ar. 72202 or The First Christian Church, 14411 Taylor Loop Rd., Little Rock, Arkansas
Chuck was a wonderful friend and mentor. He will be missed.
