Evelyn Owens, 84, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019 at her residence. She was born May 10, 1935 in Frost, Texas to the late Iva Holly and Enis Horne.
She was a member of Faith Outreach Church in West Helena, Arkansas and had a passion to read and work puzzle books.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Connie Wilson (Dennis) of West Helena, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Kelly King, Travis Owens, LaDonna Burgess, Sarah Wilson, Vince Wilson, and Teris Jones; two brothers, Curtis Horne of Richmond Hills, Texas and Jim Horne (Rita) of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
She is preceded in death by her spouse of 50 years, Woodrow Owens; son, Paul Owens; parents; three brothers, Marlon Horne, Cecil Horne, and Bill Horne; three sisters, Doris Wheeler, Maxine Young, and Iva Walker.
A funeral service for Evelyn Owens will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. A visitation will be prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Brother Jim Harrison will officiate.

I am so sorry to learn of Evelyn's death. She was such a kind lady, we worked together for awhile at Waddell Realty. I know she will be missed by many.

Well I dont know where to begin my heart is heavy but yet I know she is absolutely happy to be with the Lord! She was one of the first to welcome me to Gods house, she always made it point to tell me how proud of me she was and to stay strong and focused, you will be truly missed by Faith Outreach family, and so much by me!!
