James Towery, 85, of Black Oak, AR, formerly of Osceola, AR, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019. He was born August 27, 1934 in Tupelo, MS to Troy and Vera Towery. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He is survived by his special nephew: Frank (Lorrie) Towery of Black Oak, AR; sisters: Luvelle Turney of Dell, AR and Lula Pearl Turney of Brookland, AR and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister: Lola Bell Turner; brothers: Charles ''Cowboy'' Towery, Elbert ''Hoppy'' Towery, Cecil Towery and Olen Towery.
