Jesse Howard Robertson, age 102, of North Little Rock went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday October 9, 2019. Howard grew up in Mulberry, AR. Prior to serving in the Army Air Force, one of his many adventures included a summer spent in the Teton Mountains of Wyoming with the Civilian Conservation Corp. During his four years of WW II service, before shipping overseas, he met his wife Angie of 71 years while stationed in Pueblo, CO. After the war, they settled in Mulberry, AR, before moving to the North Little Rock area and raising their two sons, Dan and Roger. Howard retired from government service at Fort Roots VA. He also spent several years of his retirement serving as an employee of Roller-Owens Funeral Home. He was faithful member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of North Little Rock.

His family cherishes his memory as loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, as well as a loving and faithful husband. Howard is survived by two children, Dan (Candace) Robertson, Roger Robertson; three grandchildren: Leigh Ann, Kristy (Mike), and Tamara; and four great grandchildren: Emma, Corbin, Brooke, and Carson.

Services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday October 12, 2019 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, AR (501-791-7400) with Reverend Mark A. Stripling officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services. Private burial at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

I worked with Howard at the funeral home in1981-1983. He had a great sense of humor, and he was a mentor to me. Angie was a sweet lady also. May God rest his soul in heaven.
