Jim Dancy was an American patriot and War Veteran. He served our nation, state and beloved North Little Rock. That is an accurate description of Mr. Dancy, but there is more. He was first and foremost a Christian. He served God. He loved to serve others and did. He loved his family. He loved his church. Always a hard worker, he trained many young men to be fire fighters. He had a great sense of humor, and He would always have something funny to say. He was loved. He was my friend since before I can remember. Precious family. A true American. He will be missed.
I regret not being able to attend his services. I will miss him. Joe Clements
I hsve been in Lodge with Bro. A few times and really enjoyed his company. I will miss seeing him.
I'm so sorry for your loss. God bless this wonderful family.

RIP my dear mentor, the man that interviewed me for the job at NLRFD. The man that was loved by so many. Many memories of Captain Dancy that was a role model for firefighters, his family, his community and best of all my friend. Will never forget you. Love to Virginia, Larry and rest of family.
What a wonderful man Jim Dancy was! He is survived by so many family and friends who are rejoicing at his Heavenly promotion, but, he will be so missed here. Enjoy the family reunion up there! See you later!â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

I really cannot remember when I first met Jim Dancy, probably around 1979. We ended up connecting in life through varied associations. Whether we were working professionally or fraternally, he was the same, an honest and good man. I have been proud to call him my friend and brother. He will be missed by many.
May God keep his family and loved ones uplifted during this time and through the coming months, may He fill your minds with pleasant memories and comfort your souls with his promise of eternal life. Well done, Jim, and welcome to your great reward.
