David L. Howard, 64, of Marion, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2019.
He was born on April 30, 1955 in Knoxville, Tennessee to Gregory and Carolyn Beatty Howard. David graduated from Central High School in 1973. He attended University of Memphis on a Music Scholarship where he studied Business and was a member of the marching band. David owned and operated Howard's Donuts locations in the Midtown Memphis area in the late 1970's and in the late 1990's became the owner and operator of the original Howard's Donuts location in West Memphis, Arkansas, which has been a favorite donut shop of many far and wide for nearly 50 years. When he could escape the donut shop, David's true passions were classic cars, motorcycles, racing and anything with horsepower.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Howard; daughters, Jessica Howard of Newbern, Tennessee; and Karla, Kimberly and Kristie Trizzino; sons, Kyler Howard and Roger Trizzino; granddaughters, Jiselle Howard, McKenzie, Isabelle and Tabitha Clowney, Taylor Scott, Gabriella Trizzino; grandsons, Heisman Clowney, Bryce Melton, Jagger Crickellas, Dominic Trizzino; one sister, Melva R. Zanella (Daniele) of Lakeland, Tennessee; four brothers, Leslie M. Howard (Ana Maria) of Carolina, Puerto Rico, John G. Howard (Maureen) of Bartlett, Tennessee, Stanley T. Howard (Kelly) of Hazel Green, Alabama, and Clifford M. Howard (Cathy) of Dripping Springs, Texas; and,
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gregory and Carolyn Howard.
Visitation will be from 1 until 2 P.M. Monday, October 7, 2019 at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis. The funeral service will follow at 2 P.M. Burial will follow at Crittenden Memorial Park.

David was my best friend's husband. He loved his wife, Judy, and his children, and was a loving provider. He also loved Jesus and liked attending church. Now David is healed, and truly knows His awesome Presence. I believe David will be interceding for his loved ones here. Until we meet again..
