Jerry ''Jonesy'' Jones, 64, of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019 at NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital. He was born February 10, 1955, in Jonesboro, to Alma Mae and Jonah Edward Jones. Mr. Jones enjoyed being outdoors and spending time with his family.
Preceding him in death are his mother, Alma Mae Shirley Jones; brothers, Elvis Ray Jones and Edward Elvis Jones; sister, Delana Jane Jones.
Survivors include his father, Jonah Edward ''Pud'' Jones; son, Jerry Jones, Jr.; daughters, Kim (Shane) Crutchfield and Sandra (Cliff) Stonecipher; fourteen grandchildren; brothers, Garland Doyle Jones and Tim Jones; fiance', Annette Eubanks.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Old Enterprise Church at 11:00am. Serving as pallbearers are family, friends and former co-workers from Scurlock Industries. Burial will follow at Old Enterprise Cemetery.
Visitation precedes the service from 10:00am until 11:00am.

I am so sorry to hear about Jerry. He was such a good person. The last time I saw him was in the parking lot of the grocery store. I could tell then that it probably wouldn't be long and have been thinking about him.
I want to express my deepest sympathy to all those who knew and loved him so. May GOD give the family solace in their time of grief and may your fond memories of him live in your hearts forever. I Know he will be truly missed. RIP dear one
