Simp Parker, 88, of Bono, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at NEA Hospital. He was born January 1, 1931 in Bono to Fred Leslie and Mary Margaret (Camble) Parker. He was a carpenter and millwright. He loved hunting and fishing, gardening, and watching people drive by while he sat under a tree.

Mr. Parker was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 48 years, Virgina (Davis) Parker; four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Lisa Parker.

Graveside services will be 1 pm Saturday at Union Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be 9 am to 11 am prior to the service at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue in Jonesboro.
