Earnestine Evelyn Forshee Ford, 96, was born September 23, 1922 at St. James, Arkansas. She died Monday, August 26, 2019 at Mountain View, Arkansas. She was the daughter of Clark and Effie Lindsey Forshee. She was a member of the St. James United Methodist Church.

She married Hollis E. Ford on December 23, 1946 at Desha, Arkansas.

She is survived by their children; Darrell Ford (Princess) of St. James, Arkansas, Carolyn Davis (Roger) of Desha, Arkansas, and Rob Ford (Rebecca) of Mountain View, Arkansas; she was blessed by her beloved grandchildren, Shane Ford (Tanya) of Conway, Arkansas, Karman Nesbitt (Jeff) of Mountain View, Arkansas, Morgan Conner (Jason) of Newark, Arkansas, Scott Davis of Desha, Arkansas, Mary Russell (Jacob) of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Katie Morris (Joby) of Turkey Creek, Arkansas; great grandchildren include, Olivia and Ella Ford, Dusty, Rocky, Delaney, and Eli Nesbitt, Blayne Wyatt Storey (Ryan), Kennedy and Karsyn Wyatt, Emily and Jacob Morris, Abby, Lyla, Macy, Julie, and Sadie Conner. She is also survived by one sister, Glenna Martin of Mountain View, Arkansas and one brother, Harold Forshee and wife Ruth Ann of Cave City, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews. Other survivors are her brother-in-law, Jack Ford; sisters-in-law, Helen Ford of St. James, Arkansas Betty Cowden of Batesville, Arkansas and Helen Ford of Cody, Nebraska.

She was preceded n death by her parents Clark and Effie Lindsey Forshee; her husband, Hollis Ford; her brothers Okie, Willie, Ewell, and Shelby Forshee; two sisters, Opal Craig and Chester Younger; special sister-in-law, Essie Fae Ford as well as brothers-in law, J.T. and Cooper Ford.

Funeral services will be held at the St. James United Methodist Church on Thursday, August 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Paul Coy officiating. Visitation will be at the church at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at the Kelley-Ford Cemetery at St. James, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Terry Hall, Roger Forshee, Eddie Craig, David Stevens, Glen Dayberry, and Robert Davis. Honorary pallbearers will be A.J. Hager, Jimmy Wayne Dayberry and her nieces and nephews.

RIP Ms Earnestine every time it rains I will think of you. I really enjoy the times I got to care for you it was blessing to me . Every time I get you up in the mornings you always asked if it was raining and If your family was here. I admire the love you feel toward your family .
