Marvin "Gene" Daniel

of Roland, AR

March 8, 1932 - August 12, 2019

Marvin ''Gene'' Daniel, 87, of Roland, passed away August 12, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 8, 1932, to Maggie Lee Brown Daniel and Charles Ted Daniel. Gene had a strong faith and lived his life on Christian principles. He was a kind-hearted man who never met a stranger and was always willing to offer a helping hand to those in need. Gene loved spending time in his workshop tinkering with his ''Treasures'', but what he loved most was spending time with his cherished family, friends and his very spoiled granddog, Bella Grace.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents; his ''Sweetie'' of 60 years; Clara, his brother; Charley Daniel, his sisters; Doris Ann Daniel, Lois Green and Helen Chilton. He is survived by his daughters; Deborah Daniel; Joy Daniel; his granddog; Bella Grace, his brother; Johnny Daniel (Dorothy), his sisters; Mildred ''Cookie'' Harrod (John); Linda Perry; and a host of cherished family and friends.

A Special thanks to Pam and Denny Zulpo, Diane Garner for all their love and support over the last several months.

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pulaski County Humane Society.

A Visitation will be held 1 pm, Thursday, August 15, 2019, in the chapel of Roller Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway with Funeral services will follow at 2 pm.

Joy, I know your heart is breaking. Your mother and father are together again. What a JOY that you were born into such a loving family and that you were able to share the love of family as long as you did.

You are loved.
