Faye Ferrell, 97, of Bay, passed Monday, August 12, 2019, at Flo and Phil Hospice House. She was born January 27, 1922, in Pocahontas, Arkansas, to John and Bertha Moates Burgess. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and canning. She was also a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of fifty-eight years, Leavy Ferrell; daughter, Erma Ferrell; sister, Martha (Zan) Dean; and brothers, Sydney Burgess and Zan Burgess.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Glenda Sanders, Frances (Ferd) Jordan, and Betty Kennedy; son Jesse (Betty) Ferrell; brother, Guy Burgess, of Batesville, Arkansas; sisters, Elsie Cox, Maudie (Tommy) Seacrest, Lucille Burgess; grandchildren, Delores (Wayne) Goad, David Sanders, Melissa (Danny) Findley, Ronald Kennedy, Byron (Sherry) Kennedy, Tammy Doyle, Pam (Keith) Wheaton, Jeff (Kristy) Jordan, Sheila (Donny) Hand, Mark (Lindsey) Jordan, Chris (Sebrina) Ferrell, and Laura (Josh) Baldwin; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 am, Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 W Washington Ave Jonesboro, Arkansas, with Gene Cullum officiating.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are David Sanders, Ronald Kennedy, Jeff Jordan, Chris Ferrell, Jason Goad, and Brandon Kennedy. Honorary pallbearers will be Wayne Goad, Danny Findley, Mark Jordan, and Ferd Jordan.

Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Gardens in Pocahontas, Arkansas.

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. She had such a beautiful spirit about her when we visited together and I am glad I had the opportunity to meet such a sweet woman through my job. May peace be with you knowing you will see her again. I am praying for your family.
