Ken and I were "double-first" cousins--our mothers were sisters, our fathers were brothers, and we grew up in houses side by side. Actually, when we were little, we "sorta" lived in BOTH houses--often not knowing if we would be eating, sleeping, or getting a switching in "this" house or "that" one by "that" mother or "this" one.

Actually, it was Nina--when we were little young'uns--who started calling me their "other brother." As years went by, Ken and I weren't around each other for rather long stretches of time. However, in his latter days we emotionally returned to my being his "other" brother--that is "other than Mike and Steve." I took comfort in that, especially after it became difficult/at times impossible for me to drive/ride very far.

Brother, I started missing you the first day you told me of your condition, and I still do and WILL still do until . . . . JIM
