I loved Don like an older brother. He was a model for all of those of us who worked with him, and a great example of how to live your life. Peggy, you and your family are in my prayers as I ask our Heavenly Father to comfort you all during these difficult times.

To Peggy and the Lambert Family

I was so very sorry to hear that Don passed. Although it’s been years since I’ve seen you Peggy, I remember meeting Don
and seeing how much he loved his family. Such a joyful man with a big heart. Please accept my love and sincere condolences for your loss.

Peggy and family,
Saw the notice of Don's passing , his loss is a lose to everyone who knew him. I considered him to be among the best friends I ever had(if not the best). One of my great losses is not maintaining contact as our lives went separate ways but I recalled our friendship in my thoughts on many occasions. One cannot have enough friends of the kind Don was. I know he will be missed tremendously by each of you but remember what a great friend to all of us who knew him. The world needs more Don Lamberts and it would be a better place. Due to a little health problem I will not be able to attend any of his service.
May peace be with you all.

Peggy, I was so sad to hear about the loss of your dear, sweet husband. I always got so much out of our little Sunday school class that Don led so well. I loved his stories about you and the grandchildren whom he so dearly and clearly loved. I know God will surround you with His comfort and bring you peace that Don is with Him now in Heaven.

I’m sorry to hear about the loss of Don and will always remember him in his younger years working on the farm as that is where my father knew Don while working on his parents dairy when Don was a youngster. Also being his neighbor for years while his career at AP&L was thriving. I will miss him and his good natured laugh knowing he is in a much better place today.
