Martha Isabell Jones, 94, of Jonesboro, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2019 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born July 22, 1924 in Trumann to Iley Thomas and Mattie (Weaver) Yates. Martha was a hairdresser and was a member of Nettleton Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and cooking.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul John Jones; 7 brothers and 3 sisters.
Survivors include, sons, Paul T. Jones, Robert (Sandy) Jones and Jeremiah Jones; daughter, Sophia (Willie) Eshleman; grandchildren, Cindy, Billy, Sam, Jessie, Becky, Michael and Jake; 7 great grandchildren; sisters, Rachel Hargett, Mabel Crawford and Maggie Baugh; brother, Sonny Yates.
Funeral service will be Thursday, July 25, 2019, 2:00 pm, at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home with Tommy Herndon officiating. Pallbearers will be Jeremiah Jones, Jake Jones, Michael Wilson and Erik McPherson.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until time of service.
