Wilma Geneva (Duncan) Allen, age 88 year 8 months and 4 days of Fox, Arkansas passed from her earthly life, to her eternal home in Heaven on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the Waters of Mountain View. Wilma was born on November 14, 1930 in Fox, Arkansas to the late Albert and Bitha (Lowrance) Duncan. Wilma was a faithful member of Fox Assembly of God and loved serving the Lord. She worked at the shirt factory in Mtn. View for 25 years and will be remembered for the love she had for her family. She was a great cook who loved canning, making fried pies and she also loved to read. She will be greatly missed by all of her loving family and friends.
Wilma is survived by one daughter Janie Cannon and husband Garland of Searcy; two sons Rick Allen and wife Anna of Searcy; Ted Allen and wife Sue of Fox; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, ten great-great grandchildren and one on the way; along with many extended family and friends.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Raphael, her parents Albert and Bitha (Lowrance) Duncan, and one brother Milburn Duncan.
Visitation is Saturday, July 20, 2019, 9:00-10:00 AM at Fox Assembly of God in Fox, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 10:00 AM with Rev. Ester Bass, Rev. Stan Sutterfield, and Garland Cannon officiating. Interment will be at Fox Cemetery in Fox, Arkansas.
Pallbearers are Justin Allen, Charley Allen, Bryan Rodgers, Ryan Rodgers, Matthew Acree, and Zack Blair. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Trammell, Brannon Blair, and Briar Blair.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home in Mountain View, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.
I was so sorry to hear of Ms Wilmas' passing. We worked together many years ago at the shirt factory. She was one of the sweetest people ever!! She was a beautiful person inside and out. She always had that sweet smile!! I pray that God will wrap his Loving arms around you all during this sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
