David Whayne ''Nick'' Nichols Jr., 44, of Manila, AR went to be with his Lord July 13, 2019. He was born January 16, 1975 in West Memphis, AR to David Whayne (Judy) Nichols Sr. and Renee Russ (Jake) Rice. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Manila Baptist Church. Survivors include his parents; son: Nash Nichols; daughter: Katie Leanne Gardner; four grandchildren; brothers: Spencer Rice and Cody (Lakin) Nichols; sisters: Jennifer (Chris) Langford and Casey Graham; grandparents: Edwina (Otho) Bunch and Gerald Graham. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Earl and Ruby Nichols.

I am so sorry for this loss and Nick’s family . I grew up two doors down from Nick’s grandmother and knew Nick well. As we grew older Nick worked for one of my best friends at Goble Farms so I seen Nick every day . Nick was a great equipment guy. He was always the life of the party. Nick was the cutest lil boy and I had the honor of babysitting him occasionally. He was the ring bearer in my wedding. My husband and I had the honor of seeing him get baptized several years ago.
