My favorite memories of Mattie Jo are her sharing bouquets of her beautiful daffodils at our office! She had so many different varieties. She brought me a catalog so I could start my own daffodil garden. I think they will last forever and always remind us of her.
Our sincerest sympathy to the family,

Dear Family, I know that your loss is great, because Miss Mattie Jo was the "kingpin" of the family.....always there for everybody else, a hard worker with a heart as big as Texas! Folks from Trenton/Kingtown will always have a special place in my heart because they took me in (like family) when Henry King and I married! I first met Miss Mattie Jo at the wedding shower given for us at the Trenton Baptist church. You will be in my heart and prayers in the hard days to come. Much love. mfk
