Rest in peace, Melissa. To the family: Melissa and I graduated together from OHS in 1979 and kept in touch via FB. She and Paul were known well and loved by my family, as were her parents. She treasured her family, and I enjoyed the many posts of her babies, grands, and dog. She lived her own way, and had a golden heart. My prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Rest in peace sweet friend. I will forever carry you in my heart. You loved me,helped me,and encouraged me to love myself at a time when i felt totally alone and hopeless. That in itself meant so much but the fact that you gave to me when you yourself were struggling meant even more...to the point where words arent enough. I love you and will miss you.

I offer prayers for her family . I witnessed first hand how Melissa stepped up when her parents became sick and bed fast. She stayed 15 days and never left her dads side in hospice . She had some stumbles but haven’t we all? God bless you friend , I pray your welcome committee was awaiting you in God’s Heaven.

I Will forever treasure our friendship and never forget one Christmas Hayden was around 8 years olf maybe a little.younger and we were having a christmas party and he brought you a christmas card and took a gift of mine out from the tree and brought to you and invited you to our Christmas party. You came to my house and introduced yourself and told me you knew my brother and we sat and talked for a long time that day and became good friends from then on. You listened to me many times when i was going tbrough stuff as I did for you. I eventually moved away and we loss contact but i seen where you never failed to ask mom about me and to say you loved me. I love you my friend... I wish this was all a bad dream you were taken to young, but this goes to show we are not promised tomorrow. I remember you telling me of how much you loved your girls and son and family and your grands. I know you will be watching over them all ... Love always my friend....
