Steve ''Pappy'' Scott passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. He was born July 17, 1960 in Bassett, AR to Joe and Lucille Scott. He was a farmer and attended New Life Ministries Church.

Survivors include his daughter: Cyndi Scott (Allen Jacobs) of Luxora, AR; son: Steven (Stacy) Scott of Cherokee Village, AR; brother: Douglas Ralph (Shirley) Scott of Tecumseh, MI; sisters: Betty (Howard) Sussex of Adrian, MI; Patsy (Shawn) Young of Rector, AR; and Kathryn Scott of Joiner, AR; grandchildren: C.J. Sharp, Shiyah Scott, Drake Scott, Zac Scott, Tamara Scott, Allen (Boo) Jacobs, Jr., Austin Perribone, Charlee Segrest, Michael Head; and great grandchild: Athena Head.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Linda Gayle Jacobs Scott, daughter: Kim Jacobs; sisters: Shirley Scott, Diane Pate, Libby Scott, Donna Scott, Wanda Vaughn; and brother: Joe Scott, Jr.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, 2019, 6:00 PM to 8:00PM at Roller-Swift Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Sunday, July 7 at 3:00 PM at Roller-Swift Funeral Home.

My Uncle Steve was a good man the last time i seen him was October 2016 in the nursing home it was the last time I seen my grandmother Mable as well he shared his lunch with me after me and him had a cigarette break.. I used to enjoy spending time with him when I was a young kid.. my condolences to the family and friends
