Kirk I am so very sorry for your loss. Prayers to you and your family.
Hugh was one of the more likable people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Huge Razorback fan and could never stop talking about those grandson's!! When he and I had those summer baseball teams with Cain and Duck ...we may have had as much fun as the boys had! I will certainly cherish those memories forever. He will certainly be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Hoping to pay my respects tomorrow at the funeral if my health is good enough to let me travel.
Rest In Peace, Hugh. You will be missed.
Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Mr. McClain. He was a kind and sweet man. I enjoyed our site visits and hearing all about his grandchildren. He was so proud of them and beamed with pride telling every story. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and close friends.
We are sending our deepest sympathy to the entire family.
We are so sorry for your loss.
Over 40+ years of working with Hugh, I developed a tremendous amount of respect for his business, analytical and leadership skills. When working on a problem together, he would say "get it down to third-grade arithmetic so I can understand it". The truth is he already knew the answer because he could "figure in his head" faster than I could on my calculator.
Hugh was generous, with a kind heart, and always shared his success when he saw a need. We now have a huge vacuum in the McClain organization that will be impossible to fill. I considered Hugh not only my employer but also a close friend. I'm going to miss him a lot.
My heart breaks at the loss of such a sweet man. He was truly one of a kind and had a heart of gold. Our prayers and thoughts go out to all of the family and friends during this tough time.
