My thoughts and prayers to Collin, Kim, Buckley, Kim, Steve and Ricky Cherry. Robert was a great guy who I had had the priviledge of getting to know and be around quiet often growing up. He always had a joke or teased me about something most times. But I knew he liked me. My heart goes out to the whole family and if I can so anything down here let me know and I'll me glad to help. May God wrap his loving arms around you in the days and weeks to come. Robert is now with Barbara and know he can be at peace. Love you all.

I used to hang out with my nana at Ronnie Dowdy and Robert was always so nice to me. He told me one lets go find the “good stuff” in the break room at dowdy’s. Best snacks around. I could get by with anything between him and nana. I didn’t know about Mrs. Barbara either. I was really sorry to hear about both. My heart breaks for a y’all! But the Robert cherry I knew silly, quirky, and the sweetest guy I ever did meet. I’m just really wanted to share and send my condolences to the family. Apparently my mom and her siblings knew the Cherry boys! But I only remember getting the pleasure of meeting Robert and Collin. I was a kid then I’m 29 now. So it’s been forever. But he made hanging out dowdy a lot more interesting. I’m sorry I couldn’t make it today I would have like to meet some of y’all. Breaks my heart to hear this is how Robert left this earth. He deserved so much better for himself.

I had the privilege of working with Robert on several pipeline jobs, he was a joy to be around and always had more than a handful of good stories, most of the time with a smile on his face. Good man. Prayers to family and friends.
