of Conway, AR

May 23, 1946 - June 15, 2019

Mrs. Virginia "Ginny" Marr of Conway, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the age of 73. She was born May 23, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri, the oldest child of Harry and Flora (Prange) Tieman. In 1973 she married Richard Gerard Marr, her beloved husband of 46 years and together they had three children.

Ginny was fully devoted to her family and spent her years lovingly taking care of her husband and children. Above all she enjoyed spending time with her family, visiting, shopping, eating, or watching movies. She spent many days taking care of her grandchildren. She loved being silly with her daughters and granddaughters and being doted on by her son and grandsons. She made it her purpose in life to take care of others.

Ginny was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Flora Tieman; her parents-in-law, Ted and Betty Marr; and two sisters-in-law, Jean Behrle and Pam Marr.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Marr of Conway; two daughters, Karen (Donnis) Brasher of Conway, and Krissy (Billy) McCurley of Conway; one son, Kevin (Trish) Marr of Conway; two granddaughters, Zoe McCurley of Searcy and Eevi McCurley of Conway; two grandsons, Jonathan (Jerrica) Wright of Morrilton and Christopher Meachum of Conway; siblings, Florie (Don) Scott of Illinois, Bill (Jacquelyn) Tieman of Illinois and Rick Tieman of Illinois; many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00am, Friday, June 21, 2019 at Roller-McNutt Funeral home in Conway with visitation one hour prior with Bro. Shawn Hammontree officiating and Paul Blumhorst, Danny Jones, Donnis Brasher, Billy McCurley, Don Scott, and Keith Behrle serving as pallbearers. Entombment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.

Thoughts, prayers, and all my love to Rick, Karen ,Krissy, Kevin and the rest of the family. God bless you all in your loss. I have such wonderful memories of my sweet, lovely, funny cousin. She was my mentor and my best friend growing up. She inspired me so much and my life was truly enriched by her. I shall miss her so much. My husband Glenn adored her and sends his love and sympathy also.
