Esther Y. Carr, 72, of Osceola passed from this walk of life Saturday, June 15, 2019. She was born January 13, 1947 in Rockford, IL to Ira and Dorothy Morris and was member of the First Baptist Church in Wilson. She loved sewing, reading, and flea markets. Mrs. Carr was a restaurant manager and was a cook on river barges. She leaves to cherish her memory sons: Preston Carr, Kyle (Carrie) Carr, Michael (Nancy) Hood, Raymond Carr Jr. and Troy Carr; grandchildren: Christopher Hood II, Hollie Hood, Haley Hood, Jimmy Aaron Hood II, Jade Cissell, Cullen Carr and Stephanie Harbison and several great-grandchildren; sister: Ina White; brothers Mance Morris and Ira Morris II. She is preceded in death by one son, Jimmy Aaron Hood; brother, Benny Morris; and sister, Dixie Morris.

My sympathies to the Carr family I got to know Ester when she worked @ K.F.C. in Osceola & other places around town. I loved talking to her & her great sense of humor. God be with yall !
