Doris Alene Caples, 89, of Jonesboro passed from this walk of life June 14, 2019. She was born May 26, 1930 in Bono to Albert and Alma (Alexander) Holland. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church and enjoyed reading and playing the piano.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Caples; son, Mickey Caples; two brothers and one sister.
She leaves to cherish her memory son, Stanley Caples; daughter, Brenda (Tom) Waggener; grandchildren, Lisa (Doug) Butwil, Nicole Caples, Shannon Caples, and Laura (Joseph) Batlle; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday. June 19, 2019 at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home, 1900 West Washington Avenue, Jonesboro, with Dale Blackwell and Larry Bailey officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Burial will be in Old Enterprise Cemetery.

Doris was very near and dear to each of us. We enjoyed singing many songs whenever she would play the piano. We know that her, and her best friend Nadine Wilson are back together once again having many laughs and good times. She will be dearly missed by each and every one of us. Many thoughts and prayers to the family in this time of loss.
