James Roger Reves, 81 of Tilly, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, June 15th, 2019 at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville, Arkansas. He was born in Chimes, Arkansas on September 9th, 1937 to Johnny Paul Reves and Ressie May Beverage Reves.

Roger was an excellent musician and loved playing music and attending gospel singings. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. Uppermost in his heart was his family and friends. Spending time with them brought him much joy. Roger and Shirlene attended the Archey Valley Community Church. He was a member of the Pea Ridge Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife, Shirlene Reves of the home; children, James ''Jim'' Allen Reves, Stephen Boyd Reves and wife Sandy; Kirk Allen Reves and Kenny Wayne Reves and wife Sandra; grandchildren, James ''Jimbo'' Reves, Luke Reves, Lane Reves, Duston Bradley, Brittany Reves, Cody Reves, Erica Reves, Shaina Reves, Sharlotte Leavell, Cheyenne Reves, Marion Pearson, Jimmy Flaggs, Lee Reves, Crystal Reves, Chelsey Duran and Laura Reves; twenty-five great grandchildren; siblings, Nola Oliver of Welcome Home and Paulette Apperson and husband Jack of Russellville, Missouri.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Paul and Ressie Reves; siblings, Joseph ''Joe'' Cecil Reves, Hazel Odelle Reves Eggers and Merle Alton Reves; granddaughter, Crystal Marie Trevino; and daughter-in-law, June JoAnn Reves.

Funeral services for Roger will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 19th, 2019 at Roller-Coffman Chapel in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Larry Don Smith and Bro. Shane Horton officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Marsena. Pallbearers will be Luke Reves, Lane Reves, Cody Reves, Jimmy Flagg, Duston Bradley and Jim Reves. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Freeman, Mike Young, Lee Reves and Chris Duran.

Shirlene and family I’m so sorry for you alls loss of your dear husband, daddy and grandfather Roger. I’ve never witnessed nor been so proud to be a friend of a true love as you and Roger had for one another. Roger was yours and you were his for a lifetime always there for one another no matter what. Although Roger is now in Heaven with our Lord Jesus the
love you have for him in will always remain in your heart. A love full of memories that the two of your shared in this lifetime will forever be yours to visit everyday of your life. Jim, Chelsea and all the family, we are very sorry that Roger has passed. We are sure he is playing music and singing at the foot of Jesus now. We pray that The Good Lord give you solace during this time of parting and shore you up with His Strength until you are beside Roger in Heaven. May God Bless you all.

I haven’t seen Uncle Roger for 32 years and 25 years before that - Yet I remember how kind he was to me when I was I child like it were yesterday. I’m streaming love and thoughts to all of you during this time of sadness.
