Laura Alice Davidson, age 88, of Harrison, Arkansas, peacefully left her earthly home to her heavenly home, Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at her residence in Bergman with her family by her side. She was born Sunday, April 26, 1931, in Wichita, Kansas, to Roy Owen and Cleo Covell McMillen.
Laura is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Richard "Hoyt" Davidson, of the home; her son, Danny Davidson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Rickey Widner and Sharon and Paul Shippey; four grandchildren, Jerry S. Boyd, Krisy Holmes, Tara Adams, and Richard McKinley; three step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; fourteen step-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved very much. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Fred McMillen.
Laura was a member of Bergman Church of Christ. Her family moved to Arkansas in 1937 and she later married Hoyt, February 17, 1951 in Berryville. She loved to work with her flowers, being outside and enjoyed playing Scrabble with her daughters and friends. She was a meticulous homemaker. She worked for Levi and retired along with Hoyt from their dairy farm.
Visitation was 1:00 to 2:00 PM, prior to the service, at the church.
Funeral service was held 2:00 PM, Monday, June 17, 2019, at Bergman Church of Christ, with Larry Anderson and Mike Moore officiating.
Interment was in York Cemetery in Bergman.
Pallbearers were Ronald Henson, Tony Taylor, Heath Taylor, Royce Jones, Willie Young and Dennis Hunt.
Honorary pallbearers were the members of Bergman Church of Christ.

Deepest sympathy to each of you. Mom says she feels she has lost a Sister & was very close to Laura from their early years growing up through present. Laura’s infectious smile & laugh, sweet personality, & friendship will forever remain precious memories. We love all of you & continue to keep you in prayer during this difficult time.
