Van Allan Moore, age 70 of Leslie, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, June 8th, 2019 at Highland Court in Marshall, Arkansas. He was born in Huntington, Texas on October 19th, 1948 to Burnis Moore and Jackie Button Moore.
Mr. Moore was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, where he served five years during the Vietnam War. Van was an excellent carpenter and worked in the construction field most of his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his children, Van Moore Jr. (Vern Byrd) of Leslie, Calvin Moore of Ohio, Angela Vanette Moore of Arkansas and Vanita Fiedler (Jim) of South Carolina; grandchildren, Tiffany Allan, Geneva Owen, Toma Owen, Carrie Etheridge, Blake Moore, Tyler Fiedler and Jeremy Fiedler; ten great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Moore (Sherry) of Texas.
Van is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bill Moore; and sister, Joe Moore.
Graveside services for Van, along with military honors will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 12th, 2019 at Harness Cemetery near Leslie, Arkansas with Bro. Dave Watts officiating. Pallbearers will be John Strong, Rick Galbreth, Greg Weaver, Wesley Smith, Brad Byrd and Mark Andrews.

I was so heart broken to hear of this. I met Van while I was a CNA I always was happy to work on Van's wing no matter how bad of day you was having just go talk to Van and he would flash that smile and the whole room just lit up he will be missed you are all in my prayers.
