Helen Ruth Morris, age 77, of Harrison, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at her home. She was born January 7, 1942, at San Diego, California, the daughter of William Louis Pritt, Jr and Luna Almeada (Payne) Pritt. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Juanita Moseley; and her brother, William L. Pritt, Jr.
Helen was married to Charles Clifton Morris for 59 years. After retiring in 2004 she and Charles moved from San Diego to Harrison where they became members of the First Baptist Church and she joined the Quilting Circle and The Domino Girls.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Morris, of the home; her daughter, Jennifer Morris, of Poway, California; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Theresa Morris, of San Diego, California; her granddaughter, Hannah Morris; and her brother, Kenneth Pritt, of Bryan, Texas.
Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 17, 2019, at First Baptist Church with Reverend Rob Davis officiating.
