Louis Albert Weaver, Jr., 87, of Searcy, passed away May 10, 2019. He was born December 6, 1931 to the late Louis Albert and Adrian Mae Slack Weaver.

Mr. Weaver was a graduate of Searcy High School and continued his love for education at the Arkansas State Teachers College in Conway where he received his BSE. He returned home and taught at the Searcy High School and later in Gosnell and Jacksonville. His desire to learn never ended and in his retirement he and his wife traveled extensively all over the world together and enjoyed all that they saw and meeting many new people.

He loved being at home and spending time with his family and friends. He loved to be busy and to be outside hunting and fishing along with gardening in his rose garden where he tenderly cared for the beautiful red roses.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Juanita King; two brothers, Denver and Dwaindelee Weaver.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Pearl Weaver; one cousin, Elton English; extended family Lyn King and Carl Abbott, Rhonda (Chip) Passmore, Christopher (Christie) Abbott, Nicole (Chancey) Warden and Ashley Vaden; five great-great nieces and nephews and many friends.

Visitation and Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 AM. All services under the direction of Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
